Free weekend shared-care planner
Plan a weekend involving family and caregivers with a printable sheet for fixed commitments, flexible time, handoffs, and belongings to return.

A weekend care plan makes the fixed arrangements visible without scheduling every free hour. Use it when several adults are sharing care or a weekend differs from the usual pattern.
Separate commitments from possibilities
Write the events that are actually booked or agreed, then keep optional ideas in a different area. A possible park visit should not look like a confirmed meeting to someone joining later. Add the adults involved in each fixed arrangement and check that they have agreed to the timing. The planner is most useful when it shows what is still flexible.
Describe the handoffs between visits
If a child spends time with different trusted adults across the weekend, write who takes over, where, and when. Include the belongings that travel with that handoff. Avoid relying on a message from the previous weekend because one changed time can affect the whole sequence. Use a dated plan and tell the affected adults when it has been revised.
Leave room for an ordinary change of plan
An unstructured afternoon can remain unstructured on paper. If the group changes an optional outing, update anyone whose responsibilities are affected rather than broadcasting every small choice. At the end of the weekend, check for borrowed items and anything the next caregiver should know. Carry only those relevant details into Monday’s plan, leaving the completed weekend behind.

Common questions
Should every hour have an activity?
No. Use the sheet for coordination points and leave the rest open where that suits the family.
Can I plan only one day?
Yes. Cross out the unused day and keep the sheet focused on the arrangements that matter.
