A CSV for working with data
Choose CSV when you need the exported care data in a spreadsheet. Keep the original file so your own edits remain separate from the app’s records.
A deliberate range to share
Select the child and date range relevant to the conversation. Missing entries remain gaps; an export cannot reconstruct care that was never logged.

Open Export insights and select PDF summary or CSV data.

Check the file’s contents and intended recipient. Explain any known gaps in the entries alongside the report.

A parent reviews the week’s entries with the nanny and exports a PDF for their discussion. They flag the afternoon nobody logged rather than reading the gap as a day without care.

Can I export baby care as a PDF?
Yes. The Export insights menu includes PDF summary for reviewing recorded care outside the app.
Can I export a CSV for a spreadsheet?
Yes. Choose CSV data in the export menu, then open the exported file with your preferred spreadsheet software.
Are photos included in care exports?
No. The export screen states that photos are not included. Do not expect the PDF or CSV to contain the images attached to care entries.
Can I choose the period to export?
Use the child and date filters in insights to select the records you want to review and export. Check the resulting file before sending it.
Is the report medical advice?
No. The report summarizes entered information. It does not diagnose a condition or recommend an individualized feeding or sleep plan.
Does exporting require a subscription?
Insights and export access may depend on Elly Plus. Check the current plan information inside the app.
